About the Top-Loading Storage & JBOD
Supermicro top-loading storage servers fit 60 or 90 hot-swap 3.5" drives into 4U, with drives serviced from the top of the chassis. They deliver multiple petabytes per rack unit group for cloud-scale object storage, backup and archive.
Matching top-loading JBOD enclosures add capacity behind a head server over 12 Gb/s SAS, in single- or dual-path configurations.
